Spinning in Circles
If your Robot Vacuum is only moving in circles, try these steps:
1. Check for Jammed Wheels
Hair or debris might be wrapped around the wheels. Clean the wheels using scissors
or a brush to remove any obstructions.
2. Wheel Motor Failure
While the Deebot is running, flip it upside down and see if both wheels are spinning.
If one isn’t moving, the wheel motor could be faulty and may need to be
replaced.
3. Inspect the Front Bumper
If the wheels are working fine, check if the front bumper is stuck. Press the
bumper in and ensure it pops back out. If not, the bumper might need cleaning
or replacement.
4. Clean the Drop Sensors
Dirty anti-drop sensors can cause the Deebot to behave as if there’s an obstacle.
Clean all 5 sensors with a dry cloth to ensure proper functionality. If this still doesn't work they may need replacing.
Robot Vacuum On but Not Moving
If your Robot Vacuum turns on but doesn’t move, follow these steps:
1. Look for Jammed Wheels
Check if hair or debris is wrapped around the wheels. Clear any blockages with
scissors or a brush.
2. Check Wheel Motors
Flip the Vacuum upside down and see if both wheels spin when the Robot Vacuum is
running. If neither is moving, the wheel motors may need to be replaced.
3. Motherboard Damage
If the motors and wheels are fine, the motherboard may be damaged, possibly from
vacuuming liquids. In this case, the motherboard will need to be replaced.
Robot Vacuum Not Working
If the vacuum function isn’t working but the Robot Vacuum is running, try these
steps:
1. Empty the Dust Bin
Check if the dust bin is full and empty it.
2. Clear Vacuum Blockages
Check if large debris is blocking the vacuum. Remove the filter and clear any
blockages in the dust bin entrance.
3. Check for a Broken Vacuum Seal
Inspect the vacuum’s casing for cracks. Seal any cracks with duct tape to restore the
vacuum’s suction.
4. Vacuum Motor Failure
If the vacuum motor isn’t running, it may need to be replaced.
Brushes Not Spinning
If the brushes aren’t spinning, try these troubleshooting steps:
1. Remove Hair or Debris from Brushes
Check if hair or debris is tangled in the brushes. Remove them using scissors or a
brush.
2. Check the Brush Motors
Turn the Vacuum upside down while it’s running to check if both brush motors are
working. If one or both brushes aren’t spinning, the brush motors may need to
be replaced.
